If you dont put it int he headline, if it's buried inside a 2 hour broadcast, and it comes out as a side comment on another topic, it cannot be clickbait. It doesnt make it true, but it definitely means it isnt a lie meant to gain viewers either. because they didnt lead with it. its like a store having a sale, and not telling anyone. The term "clickbait" describes headlines or content intended to catch readers' attention and persuade them to click on a link, frequently to make money through advertisements. Regardless of whether the content is meaningful or pertinent to the viewer, it frequently employs sensational language, provocative graphics, or false promises to entice clicks. In online media, where publishers are vying for readers' attention in a crowded market, clickbait has become increasingly common. Before clicking on a link or sharing content with others, it's crucial to be aware of clickbait methods and critically evaluate the article. RIGHT. so if the claim isnt in the headline, but instead buried deep inside a conversation, and made as an aside during another topic, then it isnt clickbait. The claim that Poles wanted to keep Eberflus during the offseason while Warren argued against it was made in the middle of a multiple hour podcast, not included in any title, and was made as an aside after asking his partner "should I say this? we really arent supposed to talk about it" and then quickly moved on from. Since youd already have to be listening, and nothing about the comment or topic is advertised or promoted, it cannot be clickbait.

You do realize words are just semantics. (Semantics means the meaning and interpretation of words, signs, and sentence structure.) content intended to catch readers' attention and persuade them to click on a link. This, on the other hand, was buried in the podcast, quickly addressed with some hesitation and then moved on from. It isnt intended to gain attention, or garner clicks because it was buried, not featured. I believe it was true - or that at least the source they had told them it was true. You can think whatever you want to.
