The Bears and Packers finished with the same DIV Record at 1-5. They were 10-1 out of the Division. That is crazy. They may be the biggest disparity between in and out of division games I can remember.

So they were a blocked FG from finishing 0-6 in the Division, that is wild.

Wow!  Shows how good the North is.  Odds say we should be 2-0 vs Pack, 1-1 vs Queens and 1-1 vs Lions.  Glad Eberf@#k is gone...

3,541 Passing Yards, 20 TD, 489 rushing yards. So Caleb ended up with 4,030 total yards on the season. Not bad. The 20 TD to 6 INT was nice.

For all the issues we dealt with knowing we finally have a good QB is just a nice feeling.  Really Caleb should have had at least 3, maybe 4 come back wins (I've got a mental block on most of this season) if Flus had coached the defense properly.   That's pretty good and for me watching him win the game that way was just an awesome way for him to begin the offseason.

It was 5-7 games wins depending on how you counted them. Just say it is the low end of 5, they are a 10-win team and 4-2 in the Division with very little difference outside of not having Flus as the bone-headed HC.

Lost to SEA 6-3
Lost to DET 23-20
Lost to MIN 30-27(OT)
Lost to GB 20-19
Lost to WAS 18-15

Should not have lost to NE, IND

and this follows a season where they had 3 games like that and should've been a 10-win the previous season. So there are at least 8 wins in the last two years that were more than winnable, they were almost guaranteed and they still lost.

without Favre and Rodgers, the Packers are just another football team.

with Caleb Williams and the proper coaching, the Bears are an up and coming threat to be a long term contender.

I'll believe it when I see it on the field, but on paper, that's what it is.

I always said that.  Elite QBs change everything and really that and just decent coaching will get you into the playoffs.

Even great coordinators, if they come up with a new scheme, eventually get defeated by other coordinators.

Even McVey had the NFL on the run for like 12 weeks until Fangio showed the league how to beat him with cover 2.

Of course McVey remains a great coach, and adapts as well, but he's never dominated again like he did that year.

It mostly comes down to the players, and the culture of the team. Sure if you have inept coordinators it can kill you, but it's really about the QB, the roster and the culture.

Would Ben Johnson dominate without his incredible offensive line? Would another coordinator look great with the Lions' OL?

This post brought to you by Mike Vrabel for head coach :)

And yes, he would need a good OC to develop Caleb too. I'll bet there are a lot of good offensive coaches who would love to work with Caleb...
