Plus he fought through an injury that clearly affected him for a few games. Drop a stud next to him and teams will have their hands full. DABEARSDABOMB Posted January 11 Report Share Posted January 11 Dexter got a lot better this year - he faded as season went on, but he has a chance to continue to ascend given his physical talents. Because of the overall doom and gloom of this year we just assume Dexter didn't get better but I think his breakout season is next year and was better this year. He works hard to get better and it will keep raising his play. Also Billings going out and nagging injuries to Sweat, it affected his performance. I'm not sure I'd go with better player since, at least for me, that encompasses the whole enchilada of being a professional athlete and teammate. Yes, Carter was gassed at the end of the game, but his snap count was also high and with the Rams running a no huddle.
