adam
A bunch of DTs and Edge getting released. It will be interesting to see what Poles does in the early wave. Based on recent FA periods, we will know a few of the guys tomorrow by lunch. We knew about Swift at around 11am last March 11th.

If you want the short version...Zimmerman thinks he's just good/average and not worth. the money....Schlereth says he's a whole lot better than just average and details why. https://www.windycitygridiron.com/2025/3/8/24380288/mark-schlereth-joe-thuney-has-great-football-left-jonah-jackson-could-be-dominant-chicago-bears One concern for Dalman is reps, he missed 8 games last season with an ankle injury. He also has a better Run Block Grade than his Pass Block Grade for what it is worth. Can he anchor against huge DTs at 300 lbs? If they do sign him, I just hope it is not to top money for the position.
Stinger226
All these big contracts affect the price. 12.5 to 15 mil. I don't think he's worth it. I think a player like Evan Brown at half the cost is just a notch below Dalman and plays healthy. I expect us to draft the center of the future so he's a gap player. He can play guard and center. Played with Johnson for 2 yrs in Detroit. Zabel - Mbow - Wilson could be ready next year and you have good depth with Brown. I have read Dalman is not a good fit for our OL scheme but I don't know who's right or wrong, Johnson will.
Stinger226
Zadarius Smith is now available as a late free agent option.1 yr 6 mil ? I think we have one more big signing and then wait until 2 tier free agents get signed for less money. Because of abundance, we still can get contributors in the DL. We can see the physical talent but the mental side of the game, aside from obvious mistakes is harder to diagnose as fans. Johnson likes to run a variety of schemes. Stinger226
Wh Well it's Monday morning ( 12 hours ahead) and I have to wait untill I go to bed to find out what's going on. The one thing I expect is to be surprised. Poles has already did that twice and we are just getting started. All of these projections and someone not expected Will be the story.
