Thuney's cap hit is $16M, Jackson's is $11.8M, assuming Dalman's is $14Mish and Wright is $5.7M with Jones at $3.7M, the total OLine investment is almost $52M. It's about time.

He tried to get cute with marginal players getting better. That didn't work.  I will say a cheap LT is one reason we have money this year.

Poles did a trifecta in free agency and he's not done yet.

Draft Zabel that could play every line position and our OL has arrived.

Yep. Just need to come out of the draft with some kind of “Swiss army knife” type olineman like Zabel, Mbow, Ersey, Jackson, Gray to give you some depth and future and we’re in business.

I would lean towards a trade down or a DE / LT at 10.  In free agency at this point - I'd be looking for a potential vet LB to replace Sanborn (unless we like someone in-house) and still need a vet wideout or two. I don't expect any more moves for a while - basically sit and see where the market is.  But what I do like is - they invested in the lines, now we just got to hope they found the right players. I also like that these deals are all largely 2 year deals, so the Bears still have a ton of flexibility in play.

No doubt the team has made significant investments into the 3 biggest weaknesses of the club (Oline, Dline, HC/Lack of Offensive Minded HC)

I'm not going to lie - I have said I'm going to wait until I see in season productivity from this franchise - but Poles and Warren and McCaskey's have killed the off-season. From hiring Ben Johnson and the staff they put in place to how they have upgraded the trenches significantly in the past week - and with a combination of youth and vet's as well.  Really really fired up about what they have accomplished - better than anything I could have put on paper and it feels like the draft matches up well for them to really take this off-season next level and truly put the franchise in a position to really accelerate forward.

Just don't take Jeanty - I don't do RB's at 10.

They will find a 3rd WR,

lots of choices and will be on a good prove it deal because people are going to want to be around Johnson and Caleb..

Do we have a perfect storm happening here??  Coaches - vets - talented young players?
