With 2x 2nds, I could also see a trade back to the later half of the 2nd with a team wanting to move up early on Day 2. The hauls for moving back from 10 AND moving down from 39 is crazy. I keep getting SEA 18 and 50 to move back from 10. Then to move back from 39, I got HOU 58 and 79. So the updated picks look like: 1 - 18 2 - 41, 50, 58 3 - 72, 79 5 - 148 7 - 233, 240 4 picks in the first two rounds would be amazing, and 6 in the top 80? I expect something similar to that scenario. If Warren or Jeanty is there look for Denver to jump up. Payton does stuff like that. The value chart shows Denver pick 20, 51 and 122 for #10. So I guess the question becomes, if there is a trade down scenario to say SEA at #18 with #50 for 10, which players are you taking instead of that trade down scenario? If the Bears get to 10 and Campbell is there AND SEA wants to trade, do you take Campbell or the trade? Which players would you take over the trade, assuming at least that Carter and Hunter are the two non-QBs that are gone for sure? Is Jeanty worth it? Warren? Banks? Which one player is worth sticking with 10 for? Did the Seahawks trade down and a couple others and ended up with this, which I was pretty happy with. Scourton seems like Ty best fit of the first round DEs with what Allen seems to prefer. My Draft Picks 18. Nic ScourtonEDGE Texas A&M 39. Aireontae ErseryOT Minnesota 50. Isaiah BondWR Texas 56. Later in the draft you can get Jimmy Horn or Donte Thornton Jr.
adam
One thing I noticed with these mock draft simulators, there is a huge difference depending on how many QBs go in the top 10, with some having Dart go in the top 10 (Kiper has him going to NO at #9). So the draft looks completely different if 3 QBs go in the top 10.

dawhizz
I keep seeing Shemar Stewart, the edge from Texas A&M mocked to the Bears and while his size seems to fit the Dennis Allen mold, between his 4.5 TOTAL sacks over three years and this note on his run defense, I am fully out on him. dawhizz
Another useful tweet with regard to the edge class, particularly for those considering Shemar Stewart or Mychal Williams.
Stinger226
As much as we have this narrowed down to a few players, Poles is going to surprise us , I can feel it.

But I think we’ll have some indication leading up to. Like Darnell Wright pick was a surprise relative to where we were a month out from the draft, but that was kind of a tending pick in the days leading up to the draft. I’m seeing more mock drafts with the Bears selecting a DT at 10. As much as LT would be nice I haven’t seen one yet worth drafting over a likely Pro Bowl DT. Despite the depth in this draft there is a significant drop off after the top 3 DTs. Whereas DE sees a drop immediately after Carter. The DE you get at 20 won’t be much different from the one you can get at 39 or 41 albeit with varying athletic traits.

Its a good argument, especially if Banks is gone, and you dont know how Simmons will recover. 4 hours ago, AZ54 said: The DE you get at 20 won’t be much different from the one you can get at 39 or 41 albeit with varying athletic traits. even more true given that Allen likes his DEs a little bigger than the league generally does. When you favor a less popular body type, they can be available a little later in the draft.
Stinger226
For a pick at 10 there just isn't a must pick LT. Membou will be the first OL off the board and then Campbell. I don't think either ends up LTs. Then Banks and Simmons,I think they play LT but they're not pro bowl types IMO, above average starters but is that the pick you want at 10 ? The DT you take should be in that mold. Nolen, Grant is my choices for there.

I’m just not really into Skattebo and Simmons coming off a major injury can’t be my pick at #10.
DABEARSDABOMB
Biggs article was first one that got me a little bit to I’d be okay taking Jeanty. LT vibes at RB is worth it at 10 - especially if you don’t think there is a blue chip LT or Dlinemen there.
DABEARSDABOMB
To be clear if I did my next 2 picks would be in the trenches. I still think they need to find another we or te st some point in draft too.

Whatever that means I’ll figure it out later. Definitely not top 20 for me. I sure hope Jerry Jones loves him.

They don't need him to start right away, they will let Braxton play the year out. If they think he's a upside LT in the league, I think this is the perfect scenario. If Campbell is a true LT, I would be all in on him. You did make a good point before, you need to draft a day one starter at 10, any OL pick will probably not start this year. BearFan PHX Posted yesterday at 01:29 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 01:29 AM OK so here's some awesome draft BS... Former Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum, who wasnt especially good at being a GM, predicts that if Colorado QB Shadeur Sanders slides out of the top 5, he'd be targeted as a trade up to pick 10. In a recent mock, he has the Steelers trading up with us like this: Chicago gives 1st round Pick (10) [369 Hill pts] 5th round pick (148) [10 Hill pts] Pittsburgh gives 1st round pick (21) [261 Hill pts] 3rd round pick (83) [52 Hill pts] 4th round pick (123) [23 Hill pts] 2026 1st round pick [100 ish pts] In this draft especially, I'd do that in a heartbeat. 2 firsts next year?! I doubt Pittsburgh would pay that much. Like I said its a bunch of BS, be we have nothing better to talk about, and the trade chart says: Chicago 379 for Pittsburgh 433 or a difference of 54 pts which = a mid round 3rd Maybe the value works out if youre getting a good QB, but who here wouldnt take that deal in a second? Probably why it would never happen. But if it did, that'd be amazing.
