DABEARSDABOMB
Rondale Moore and Mecole Hardman visited the Bears today. I really would love a short term deal for Moore. 24 with tons of speed - coming off injury and I think in right role could thrive as a slot / take the top off guy with some gadget and special teams thrown together. Both players are speed guys. Moore was like 4.33 coming out - injuries have been a big issue with him and he missed all of last year. Stinger226
I think adding to the WR room is just throwing darts at the board and see what scores a hit. I also think it means they're not taking a WR with a high pick. We need upgrade at several spots less talented that the receiving core. How many teams go 3 deep in stud WRs? With DJ and Odunze that is expected and Kmet is a potential top 10 TE. Add 2 RBs than can catch and that's a good offense. When the roster is more talented you should add weapons. Also Johnson is strong into the running game. Zach is a functional 3rd WR that's a good fit.
AZ54
Between the signing of OZ and the team trolling around these two speedy WRs I'd say Scott is now in the NFL category...Not For Long. None of these WRs determines if we do/don't grab a WR on day 2. I think that depends on how the board falls and also if we can garner another pick via a trade down. I agree RB takes priority over WR. My newest RB flavor of the month is Quinshon Judkins. I think the Bears will need to trade back into the 2nd to get him.
Stinger226
Between him and Henderson, he's the one to buy. I like Skattebo that I think can be gotten in the 3rd. Actually there are quite a few good backs this year. Brugler thinks there could be 25 drafted. We resigned Travis Homer for ST. Not sure if Wheeler sticks with the team but he's still here. Not sure I'd like to take him 39 or 41, but somewhere later in the 2nd would fit. Maybe trade down is an option too in 2nd.
Stinger226
No matter who you draft at RB, Johnson is going to share the position. Atlanta drafted Robinson high and he hasn't been a different maker as far as wins. We aren't in the timeline to add a load back, to many other weaknesses right now. Johnson has had two years and flashed zilch. New regime so that could change but he is very pedestrian.

We probably already did even with him here TBH. Doesnt mean it will be in round 1, but I think we will see a WR in the first 3 rounds? I think with the first 4 picks we will get at least 3 players out of these five positions (in no order) WR, HB, S, DL, OL
Stinger226
I would say 1 OL, 1 or 2 DL and 72 will be the wildcard pick. Our free agent additions were not all young guys, so I see high picks adding to our trenches that need depth and replacement players. I still think trade backs will add a couple picks for other positions.

This shouldn't hurt if he doesn't make the team. Its a position of need for a trust worthy returner. DeAndre Carter signs a 1 year deal with the Browns, so look at it as his replacement. I feel like this is one where they could have drafted or got another guy who could fit in the receiver room - ie Rondale Moore. I don’t mind him as a returner and I should caveat he is far better than Carter who was super meh.
