AZ54
Mike Brown our starting safety? You might as well list his backup alongside his name.
DrunkBomber
Mike Brown our starting safety? You might as well list his backup alongside his name. He will be the starter on opening day. Im sure they will be going into this offseason with the plan of bringing in another starting caliber safety for that reason or possibly even to start alongside Brown
brletich
QB: Orton RB: Benson FB: McKie WR: Berrian WR: Moose TE: Clark LT: Chris Williams LG: Alan Faneca C: Kruetz RG: Garza RT: Tait DE: Ogunleye DE: Alex Brown DT: Tommie Harris DT: Dusty OLB: Jamar Williams MLB: Urlacher OLB: Hunter CB: Tillman CB: Vasher SS: Payne FS: Mike Brown Say what you would like about Mike Brown, but the Bearswill hope like H-E-double hockey sticks that he can stay healthy, because he is the best they've got and better than what else is available. I can see this lineup getting us back to dominance though.

Ed Hochuli 3:16
i will give up my left nut if we draft those guys that you have I edited it a little. Chris Williams, round 1. Flacco, round 2 (Orton will get the starting job though). Hefney and Laws, round 3. Caldwell, round 4 You're right, my other lineup was pretty unrealistic. This is has a 10x better chance of happening then my old one
bradjock
I personally will be pissed if we count on Cedric to do anything more then run into the back of his offsensive lineman. For a team that "gets off the bus running" we need to have a back that's not completely worthless. (Benson is slow, has bad vision, he fumbles, he's a bad receiver, a terrible blocker, AND he seems to think he's the greatest and repeatedly says ignorant crap to the media.) I'd take damn near any available free angent running back over Cedric. QB: Orton RB: Benson FB: McKie WR1: Berrian WR2: Muhammad SLOT: Hester TE: Olsen & Clark LT: Tait LG: Willaims (draftee who will eventually move to LT) OC: Kreutz RG: Garza RT: Starks (FA signing) LDE: Ogunleye RDE: Anderson UT: Harris NT: Dvoracek WILL: Williams MIKE: Urlacher SAM: Hillenmeyer CB: Tillman FS: Manning SS: Brown CB: Vasher NICKLE BACK: McBride K: Gould P: Maynard LS: Mannaley KR/PR: Hester

Ed Hochuli 3:16
Woah woah woah, Benson is awesome, he just had a shitty offensive line, ask Bearsox Bearsox and I don't think he's awesome, but we certainly don't think he is terrible/bad. We think that with an OL, he can be effective (see 2006)

I personally think they will give Ced one more chance this coming year because of the coin they have paid him. Should they? Not based on what he has shown so far, but they probably will anyway.
