Ed Hochuli 3:16
Here's my sleeper: Danieal Manning. He's had 2 bad years but this year he will be very good I'll also go with Benson since everyone thinks if he succeeds it's a surprise so I think he'll get 1100+ yards for the year. nfoligno
Right now, I am not sure there is a player I would say is going to surprise on offense. That can change if we add players, but just going off what we have now. W/ our OL, or even some mediocre replacements, I do not see Benson surprising any. I actually think Benson could be a surprise if we built and OL, but w/o, I do not see any of our backs doing jack. WRs? you have to be kidding me. May make some great catches, but will struggle too much w/ consistency. I can even call Olsen a surprise, as I think he has higher expectations, and w/ our QB/OL/WR situation, doubt he will even meet those expectations. On defense we have candidates. McBride - I think he could take over the nickel job, as well again provide a solid replacement if Vasher/tillman go down again. Dusty - Obvious choice. My vote though is going to go to Payne, who I think will (sooner or later) take over the starting SS position, and bring an all around game we have not had at SS in a LONG time. Controlled Chaos
Hass. If given the chance, he will become the go to guy. Toeaina. I think he will become a big part of the tackle rotation. Benson. Not sure if he is a sleeper, but if we address the line, I think he can have a big year.
dawhizz
I'm hoping Josh Beekman is that guy, given how much we need O-line help. It's not hard to see him winning a startng job. It would also be nice if they gave Mike Hass a decent chance.

Dusty on D and Olsen on O.
nfoligno
Would Olsen be a surprise? 1st round pick w/ high expectations. Maybe a player you pick to have a big year, but I am not sure you can call him either a sleeper, or a surprise. As for Dusty, maybe a sleeper on the national level, but not on the local level. Okay, so maybe they're not surprises. Surprises I'll say Bradley on O and McGowan on D.
madlithuanian
Good points... I just can't see any surprises on offfense at the moment. Dusty and Payne would be my surprises as well. And I agree that I'm not sure Dusty qualifies...but Payne did see more time on the filed than he did in the regular I think. ParkerBear7
I also really hope Payne can make an impact this year. My brother went to TC last year and said Riduea look pretty good has anyone seen anything from this WR to think he could help? As far as Hass goes I do recall that incredible catch going out of bounds in pre-seaons and think he should battle for PT. Does anyone have any info about the guys burried on the OL depth chart like M. Jone & T. Reed? Are they potential stater material?
Alaskan Grizzly
Toeaina, Matt 75 DT 6-2 311 Oregon After the nice finish he had in the season last year, this guy for sure.
Boston Boxer
i will say Devin Hester. If the Bears use him like the Pats use Wes Welker, then Hester could take his game to a whole new level. The Bears need another WR opposite Booker so Hester in the slot running in open space would be unstoppable. Also would open up the TE patterns. Short, fast, routes will also take pressure off the QB who is usually on his back or running for his life most of the game.
adam
Dvoracek, Toeaina, and Wolfe.

AZ54
Payne on D and on offense I wait to see who we have on the team. As far as Hester being used like Welker that isn't going to work because Welker has one thing Hester doesn't: Randy Moss. In fact, Hester is more of our Moss when he's on the field because he commands a lot of attention. Welker just has to run the underneath routes after Moss and others clear it out. What we need to do is use Hester a little more often like the Patriots use Moss and have him help clear out the underneath stuff. That doesn't mean he has to be on a fly route all the time but he can run some 15 yard out routes, or a skinny post from the slot position. Just do something with him besides throwing him the ball within 3 yards of the LOS and watching 11 guys run over to tackle him.
BearSox
Bradly and St. Clair are the two most obvious suggestions, IMO.
