bradjock
Not exactly shocking news. We must like Matt Toeaina and Babitunde Oshinowo. Here's the PFT story: BEARS OPT NOT TO MATCH KENNEDY OFFER On the same day that word broke that the Jags signed defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy to an offer sheet, the Bears opted not to match it. According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, the Bears made their decision on Tuesday, and Kennedy is now a Jaguar. The one-time first-round pick will get a chance to rejuvenate his disappointing career by working his way into the tackle rotation with the Jags, who need help now that Marcus Stroud has been traded to the Bills. DABEARSDABOMB
I didn't expect the Bears to match the contract offer. Kennedy was far behind a lot of guys on the depth chart and Oaeniana impressed me a lot more.
nfoligno
Not exactly shocking news. We must like Matt Toeaina and Babitunde Oshinowo. Don't forget Adams. Harris, Dusty, Adams and Idonije give us 4, to go along w/ Wale, Brown, Anderson and Bazuin at DE. I would say there is probably one more spot open, MAYBE two if someone really stands out. Toeaina has a leg up, and frankly, I would be shocked if we didn't draft another DT somewhere in the draft.
