clnr
Works for me! I'm hoping for a game at Soldier Field in week 2. I'll be in US on vacation then and plan to go to Chicago!
madlithuanian
I'd say it's decent odds if we're on the road in week 1! And if not, hit one of the many bars and watch the game with a ton of Bears fans in Chicago! Works for me! I'm hoping for a game at Soldier Field in week 2. DrunkBomber
I am about as excited about that game as I was seeing we had to play at San Diego last year.
madlithuanian
No! (We'll be kicking off to them...) But, I would say yes if theya re kicking to us. I think there's this odd pride thing that'll get in the way! (I hope...) Question is, will they kickoff to hester to start the game?
madlithuanian
Is that a good thing? I hope the result is much better! Having been at that SD game in person, it was pretty darn disappointing. Here's hoping for much better! I am about as excited about that game as I was seeing we had to play at San Diego last year.

adam
I don't mind an away game in Indy because it will have a lot of Bears fans. Also, I would rather catch the Colts early when they are rusty compared to later in the season.
Ed Hochuli 3:16
If we lose, I just hope it's not a massacre for the whole nation to watch.
madlithuanian
You're probably right...but given that it's the first game and would be first kick to him of the season, I could see them potentially testing the waters... Probably just a pipe-dream! I just hope if they don't we can capitalize on the good field position! I dont think Dungy is gonna let his pride get in the way of kicking to Hester after the Super Bowl. madlithuanian
Let's open the kool aid keg before the season starts! We could catch them by surprise... DrunkBomber
Good point... Steal one early... I dunno. It seems Indy has started out like 8-0 for the past 5 seasons. I dont think they will be very rusty because they pretty much have all the same players every year. Us on the other hand...
madlithuanian
Well, in all fairness you're right. Odss are we will get our butt's handed to us. The Bears need to prove otherwise, or else we best assume history will just repeat itself. I dunno. It seems Indy has started out like 8-0 for the past 5 seasons. DrunkBomber
I think we all know what holds the key to victory in week 1.... ....How deep into the game Mike Brown last before he gets injured
madlithuanian
Honestly...is there one other guy on the team that seems to be the complete barometer of its success? Kind of interesting and sad... Urlacher is close...but it really seems like the presence of Brown dictates the team's success or failure. I honestly think Mike Brown is one of the best players in the NFL and if he could have stayed healthy he might have gone down as one of the biggest game changers in terms of presence of all time. madlithuanian
Agreed. I see him as a poor man's Ronnie Lott... Like you said Urlacher is just as valuable.
