ostrogoth
The Chiefs are willing to listen to trade offers for Jared Allen, according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter and FoxSports.com. He is visiting Minnesota on Friday and is expected to visit Tampa next Friday. Allen is one of the five most valuable defensive players in the NFL, so any trade for him would be a blockbuster. It's a curious move by the Chiefs, who placed the franchise tag on Allen. They can rebuild with draft picks, but they are admitting they can't afford to keep their top talent. Allen will likely require a huge contract, a first-round pick, and probably more for any interested suitors. Minnesota has a higher first round pick than Tampa and is likely the favorite. Look for a trade on or before draft day.
DrunkBomber
Hopefully they cant pull this off. Thats one of their biggest needs. If they can get a pass rusher their defense will be damn good.

DABEARSDABOMB
Allen left Minnesota without an offer. If he were to sign an offer sheet, the Chiefs would have the right to match, otherwise the Vikings would be on the hook for two first round selections.
