I had a chat room set up, hosted not by sportsinfinity.com, but by bravenet. It was not a bad setup. It still works. It is free. It is ours to use. Nothing needs to be setup. Nothing needs to be uploaded, downloaded, modified, edited. All we need is to use it. Pretty simple huh? BEARSTALK CHAT ROOM Why is it necessary to go to another forum to use their chat room when we already have one, all we need to do is get the dang link on this site so we can use it!! Anyone know how to add this link to the top of the page??? I hate to see us rely on another forum to use their chat room when we already have one to use. When it was first brought up there was no mention of the old chat-room & as it was getting closer to the draft I threw this up. I still trying to get the wife to go to the in -laws while the Draft is on....but I have to keep head down,because I getting the new Draft hat some time this week and she know's I have "far to much Bear's crap around the house" and I dont need another hat. One of the best things about chatting is to have enough people to keep the conversation flowing. Our chat room has been up and running for over ten years and usually gets plenty of visitors for draft weekend. We use the latest jpilot chat applet powered by java that allows us to add a few graphics and color to the chat screen to make it a little more enjoyable. Nothing better then someone peeing on a packer helmet when their on the clock! Pixote Posted April 25, 2008 Report Share Posted April 25, 2008 I have regained entry into the site manager for the chat room so I was able to edit the entry page so that when you type in your username it shows up ok. For some reason it was white text on white, ouch, now the text is black on white. TalkBears Chat Room Hope to see all of you who can make it join us for some fun during the draft.
