The Bears are once again leading the way, setting the market. Now just to get Williams signed.

 

I have to believe the deal is done and Williams is just waiting to make sure there is nothing missed with the no cap year/CBA deal, either way I guarantee he'll be there on Wednesday for TC. (someone reserve some crow)

Kind of amazing how many teams haven't even got started yet. And not just crappy GM's, like the Lions...the Colts haven't touched theirs yet. The Packers...well their GM's been on vacation/in hiding, so he has an excuse at least.

Yes, and we have other 1st round picks that swore the exact same thing but came in late do to a hold out. Let's hope that is not the case here. The Bears wore out the signing dest this year with 11 drafted rookies, a slew of undrafted rookies, and a whole bunch of veteran player extensions. Now you know they did not do all of this and not work equally as hard to get the number one signed.
