Mike Hass

Da Bears 88

Recommended Posts

I was listening to Doug Buffone and Hub Arkush on 670 the Score tonight.

They brought up a good point. Why hasn't Mike Hass gotten a look, still?

He catches anything that's thrown to him. Now, i'm not saying he'd be a great WR.

But, i think he could be a solid WR given the chance to prove himself.

For a team that needs all the weapons on offense.

Hass is only 25 years old. Enough is enough, give the guy a damn look! 19.gif

I agree. I'm still shocked we didn't give him a look at the end of the season. That being said, right now we have: Booker, Hester, Lloyd, Bradley and Davis all in front of him. Not to mention we supposedly like Monk.

It sucks, but barring a miracle, Hass is gone.

Don't forget Bennett and Rideau.

IMO, Hass should probably get atleast a couple passes if we are out of it in the end this year like the way we were last year, but he more than likely won't.

I've been saying for a while that I thought the Bears' WR corp were better than given credit for, but just have a hard time proving it with a bad OL and a bad OC and an average-bad QB.

I didn't really care for the Lloyd signing, but loved the Booker move. Either way, when they drafted Bennett, that automatically put him in the top 3. Add in the enigma that is Bradley, the undeniably raw talent of Hester, as well as a solid slot-guy in Davis...and you have the makings of a roster too full for Haas.

It's unfortunate, but not surprising.
