bradjock
The SCORE's been making fun of this depth chart all summer, since the Bear's refused to name starters at WR or QB. I had trouble find this but the Sun Times had it: Bears release first depth chart of summer By Brad Biggson August 4, 2008 5:52 PM | Permalink | Comments (6) | TrackBacks (0) Offense WR--Rashied Davis/Devin Hester, Mike Hass, Brandon Rideau, Ryan Grice-Mullen LT--John St. Clair, Cody Balogh, (Chris Williams) LG--Terrence Metcalf, Anthony Oakley, Ryan Poles C--Olin Kreutz, Josh Beekman, Anthony Oakley RG--Roberto Garza, Tyler Reed, Chester Adams RT--John Tait, Kirk Barton TE--Desmond Clark, Greg Olsen, Kellen Davis, Fontel Mines, Marcus Stone WR--Marty Booker/Brandon Lloyd, Mark Bradley, Earl Bennett, Marcus Monk QB--Rex Grossman/Kyle Orton, Caleb Hanie RB--Matt Forte, Adrian Peterson, Garrett Wolfe, P.J. bradjock
This is actually a better one listed at the SCORE's web site. http://www.670thescore.com/pages/2728099.p...ntentId=2534858
Mongo3451
I found it odd that D Manning is listed as 2nd string FS. I thought he was working as a CB. Rod Wilson and Okwo are either not developing or Roach and McGlover have progressed nicely. The left side of our OL made me vomit. Sign Rueben and another vet immediately! Overall the D looks good and the O is disturbingly unsettled. I look for them to settle in with the reciever spots soon, with a silent choice at QB. Some continuity needs to develop quickly, especially considering our OL is currently dessimated.
nfoligno
An even worse thought? As bad as the OL may look now, imagine when the starters take a seat in the preseason games. Think about that for a second. The 1st string OL will take a seat, but either Orton or Rex will enter the game and still be trying to win the starting job. I feel sorry for the rookie QB who will be in the game later.
AZ54
Seeing Lloyd listed alongside Booker as potential starter pretty much indicates Hass is on his way out.
