nfoligno
From the Trib, http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune....s-could-mi.html Harris says he will play, but Lovie doesn't sound as sure. The way harris has played, does it matter. I honestly wonder if Dusty and Harrison would not be a better starting duo of Harris is in fact hurting. He has not looked good so far this year and may need sometime to heal up. Peace
Bears4Ever_34
Marcus Harrison has had more of an impact this year than he has, I have no problem. Dusty has played like a man possessed so far this season, that's a good thing considering he's missed the last 2 seasons with injuries. madlithuanian
I'd actually prefer this and let Harris get to a point where he can actually contribute something other than the dirty laundry pile in the locker room... DABEARSDABOMB
Harris is probably never going to be the player he once was. His knee has been bad year over year and those types of injuries just don't magically get better. Harrison/Dusty sounds good to me.
Ed Hochuli 3:16
I've been saying this for awhile- if he isn't 100%, I'm glad he's sitting out. Let him get 100% in time for the Falcons.

Dusty is on a mission and Harrison seems to be, beside Forte, the find of this draft for us. Give Harris a rest.

GrizzlyBear
Well the way I look at it is there is plenty of lineman that had the same injury in the NFL, It will heal but they have to give it a chance to heal, His playing is only hurting that process. If they truly want to have him be at his old form , then IR for this year and let him reek havoc next year. With Harrison and Dusty playing well, and Idoneje playing well there is no sense to have him play this year at all.
selection7
When was Harris last hurt? Last year he played hurt and played well. How is it that after resting for 8 months he's worse? Both the thought that we could be without his dominance in the short term and that he could never be the same player are too hard to think about. I'd rather be in denial for now.
