Wesson44
The Titians are a good football teams this year, but they can be beaten. We have to get them out of there mind set of being 8-0. We have to first stop their running game, which we can do sinse we have been good against the run all year. But the main key this game is to move the LB'S back from the line and let them play normal. This will take away some of those short passing lanes that are killing us. Also with the WR the Titians have we need to play more bump and run and two deep double the outside WR. This takes away timing and free passing lanes. The second thing is the Dline needs to rush Collins....he is no V. Young when it comes to running. Now the offense needs to keep doing what it has been and we will be fine. The special teams need to learn how to block for Hester and Hester needs to just go North and South more to get away from the first wave and maybe he'll break one. But we need to keep the Titans out of feild goal range if it comes down to it, they kicker has a strong leg and 50+ yards are not a problem for him. We have been stopping the run this year by moving the linebackers up closer to the line of scrimmage. So to continue success against the run do we change the scheme we have been using all year? I do agree that the Titan's will pick us apart underneath, just as they did with Indy when they stopped the Titan's running game and remember, Indy plays a similar defense as we do. Ed Hochuli 3:16
Stop the run. Get pressure on Collins. We can't turn the ball over more then one time on offense. BAM
AZ54
I disagree on Hester. IMO one of his problems on KR is that he no longer stretches the coverage unit toward the width of the field and too often just heads straight up into the wedge. He was at his best moving to the outside and making a quick cut between defenders. In short, he's given up some of his creativity on returns. Well it seems that they conflict , but what I mean is that they need to play more down and distance. Anytime a team has 3rd and 7 or more they will usually try to pass to get the yards, but if they LB'S are up at the line stopping the run then the short slant routes are going to be open. Also with them being so close they get blocked out of the play too much as having lanes to run to the ball. But want I see not happening as before is the gang tackling. Not everyone is running to the ball and when they do they are not coming under control to make a tackle so one move by the back and they have missed the tackle......we need to do a better job at this.
