Pixote
Let's hope its good Rex. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...-bear08.article Peace If it is "good Rex" we should be ok. Listening to the Score it seems the consensus is that we would be better off running a no-huddle offense as it will wear down the big boys on their D-Line and make them less effective against the run. Kyle did a good job of running the no-huddle. Hopefully Rex can do so also.
Guest TerraTor
http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,5527202.story He sounds as if he earned this start. GrizzlyBear
Terra, I think is hopeful more then earning his spot. With a low QB rating how can anyone earn a spot to start. I just hope (like Pixote) that good Rex shows up and turns the Boos to cheers. A win tommorrow will be a Blessing , then let Kyle take us to the promised land of the playoffs. DABEARSDABOMB
Its gonna be a really tough game. The defense and offensive lines are going to step up if the Bears are even going to have a chance. And at that point it'll come down to Rex making plays. Hopefully he can do it. I have more faith in him than a lot of other teams backups but I will admit the odds are stacked against the Bears on Sunday.
Bears4Ever_34
I really have no confidence with Grossman starting. I mean he still didn't do well in the time he had last week throwing the ball. Sure he had one good throw for a touchdown but his accuracy was off and he didn't look like he knew what he was doing compared to Orton. Whenever you see Orton throw the ball (I don't know if you guys feel like this but) I feel like as the camera moves, you just think someone is going to catch it. However that isn't the feeling I get with Rex. It would have been a tough game even with Kyle under center but were going to have to rely on Matt Forte more than usual in order to win. Its weird, ever since the Miami game in 06', which was the game when it all eneded, I have no faith whenever he drops back to throw. Especially now seeing Kyle i feel like we actually have a true pass attack and dont cringe when we pass. I think the Titans are vulnerable against a passing team and making them come from behind, i have no respect for Collins and the recievers at all. I think this will be rex's last hoorah (sp) in chicago. and im glad for it. get well soon Kyle.
