Connorbear
Per Biggs via twitter Rudy Burgess That's 3 wrs on the practice squad (Rideau, Hass, and Burgess). Most not be happy with the WR play. Peace
Da Bears 88
Time for the Bears to give Rideau, Bennett or Hass a shot.
madlithuanian
I could not agree more... Time for the Bears to give Rideau, Bennett or Hass a shot.

Yep I agree, I'd like to see Brandon Rideau in this week's game. He can be a big play receiver, we need someone who does that besides Hester. ChileBear
Guess the means that Lloyd has "100%" himslef out of town when the season is over. But, based on Lovie's track record, I doubt we're going to see any of the PS WRs. They'll just be ther in case and then come back for TC next season. Peace Burgess was primarily a return specialist at ASU. He's another short one at only 5'9". Guys, Bennett might see some action yet this year, but the team would have to cut or IR a player before thy could put Rideau or Hass on the roster. Played on special teams and was in on some routes. We need to consider giving him the reps that are currently going to Booker. I have a feeling Marty will be gone next yr and we need to get Bennett ready. Peace
Da Bears 88
Knowing the Bears use of WR's, i doubt it happens. But hey, who knows.
Connorbear
I just checked and we have 4 WRs on the practice squad (Josh Brossard). Plus 1 TE, 1 FB, and two o-linemen. Very interesting. Peace
madlithuanian
Do you think that holds any real significance? I just checked and we have 4 WRs on the practice squad (Josh Brossard). Connorbear
Do you think that holds any real significance? Not sure but it is strange. Not one defensive player on the practice squad. Peace
AZ54
Burgess was not primarily a returner at ASU. He committed there to be a WR but when all their RB went down his sophomore season he spent most of the year filling in at RB. For his size he did a great job and showed a lot of toughness. I think he also split some time at RB his Junior season. Because of that his development at WR suffered. He's a shifty runner with good speed and plays with a lot of heart. Looking at players on our roster I'd consider him a shiftier version of Rashied Davis. I think he's a good pickup for the practice squad but I honestly don't expect much from him.
