Wesson44 Posted December 22, 2008 Report Share Posted December 22, 2008 The Bengals responded to the smashmouth conditions by feeding the ball to running back Cedric Benson 38 times for a career-high 171 yards. With 118 of those yards coming in the first half, it marked the first time since Dec. 11, 2005 against the Browns (when Rudi Johnson had 124 in Cincinnati) that the Bengals had a 100-yard rusher in the first half.
