Trade out of the 1st for a 2nd, 4th, and 5th.

Sign Jordan Gross.

2. Paul Kruger, DE, Utah

---The guy is a machine and has been compared to Aaron Kampman.

2. Louis Delmas, FS, Western Michigan

---Big hitter, leader, and ball-hawk. Can you ask for much more from a FS?

3. Brian Robiskie, WR, Ohio State

---I'm really starting to like this kid. He is 6'2 200 but he has great hands and is a great route runner. Perfect compliment to Hester.

3. Trevor Canfield, RG, Cincinnati

---He is a great run blocker and that's what we need.

4. Zack Follet, OLB, California

---Leader and is pretty athletic.

4. Gartrell Johnson, RB, Colorado State

---After watching the E/W Shrine game and his bowl game, this guy reminds me of Brandon Jacobs. If Angelo really wants to see more Wolfe, we could have our own Earth/Wind/Fire RB combo here.

5. Tom Brandstater, QB, Fresno State

---Another guy who threw the ball great in the E/W Shrine game. He was throwing into the wind with a great spiral, speed, and accuracy.

5. Jarrett Dillard, WR, Rice

---Great route runner but he's small. He has great hands and a knack for the end-zone.

6. Willie VanDeSteeg, DE, Minnesota

---Has had legal issues and without them could be a 4th or 5th rounder.

7. Jon Cooper, OC, Oklahoma

---This pick will wake Kreutz's sorry ass up, maybe.

(yes, I know you can't blitz in the EWS game or play anything but a 4-3 D).

You know this already, but I hate it.

DE in the first would be a bad move IMHO. The Bears already have three, and Kruger would never see the field. I like the Delmas pick, but I just don't think a Bears draft is a success this April unless there is some serious OL help. Otherwise we'll end up watching the exact same team we watched this year. Would it hurt this franchise to devote some consistent attention to the offensive side of the ball for a change? Let's right the wrong of the 2005 draft and get a collection of good, young offensive talent.

I agree that we should concentrate on the offensive but a major problem is that JA blows when it comes to drafting offensive players.
