Ed Hochuli 3:16
2. Mohammad Massaqoui, WR, Georgia ---Do I like him this early? No. But the organization does. 3. Darcel McBath, FS, Texas Tech ---Talk about rising talk? This guy was a 6th rounder 2 months ago. 4. Jason McCourty, CB, Rutgers ---CB depth. 5. Orion Martin, DE, Virginia Tech ---DL toy for Marinelli. 5. Tony Fiammetta, FB, Syracuse ---Best FB in the draft, IMO. McKie doesn't get it done. 7. Jeremy Childs, WR, Boise State ---WR depth. 7. John Gill, DT, Northwestern ---DT depth and the team likes him. Thoughts (this could all change by signing Holt or Burress)?

AZ54
What is interesting about Massaqoui is that he's supposed to be an excellent run blocker and he's a very good student of the game, lots of film study, and scored high on the Wonderlic. So from a character standpoint he's JAs type of player. He supposedly improved a lot in the last year although still has a way to go to improve his receiving skills. I know his value isn't near where we pick in Rd 2 but I'll say this: I like taking him with our second round pick a lot better than I liked taking Mark Bradley with a second round pick. BearSox
That is a tv remote through the tv worthy draft right there. Also, we have a 6th rounder (swapped with the Bucs) and 3 7th round picks.

If we draft massaquoi before the 5th round, my remote may end up in the TV, yes! He's horrible! Drops a lot of passed, can't run routes. He was awful in the games I watched him! Other opinions: http://walterfootball.com/pro2009mmassaquoi.php (ranked as #20 among WRs) http://www.draftcountdown.com/scoutingrepo...d-Massaquoi.php (ranked as #17 among WRs)

Stinger226
I say draft Arron Kelly from Clemsom I dont see us drafting a CB till the later rounds, and also they are high on Melton/DE-Texas so he will go about the same spot as Martin so see him there instead of Martin. Otherwise the draft looks good. Some have Mossaqoui not rated high but a few smart football people have him as a top 10 receiver. I think we like him so that pick is very possible. Some thinks he sucks on this blog, but Im not sure they are all that smart, but know Im not either, we just have opinions.

azbearsfan
Horrible. I agreed. I still like yours better than anything else I have seen here on Talkbears. Except I might trade Robiske for Duke in the second round because I like him alot, but I wouldn't cry if we took Duke.

Also, we have a 6th rounder (swapped with the Bucs) and 3 7th round picks. The Bears do not have a regular 7th. They traded it and TB's original 6th for Buenning. They have 2 7th's for losing Ayabedejo and Gilmore.

jason
So this is wrong? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_NFL_Draft I thought we had two 5's, one 6, and two 7's.

We traded the pick we got for Griese, as well as our 7th for Buenning.
