adam
This trade makes absolutely no sense at all. Atleast get some value out of a 2nd rounder! We didn't get a thing from that trade. Ahh I'm so mad right now! Yeah, I wonder if Seattle asked to move up, or the Bears were looking to move down. If Seattle was looking to move up, no way do you take that deal. If you are moving completely out of a round (19 slots), you should at least receive their 3rd this year and next.

DABEARSDABOMB
I'm quite happy about this. It gives the Bears ammo to make some moves in this draft, plus we had a few needs and I don't think there was an impact WR sitting there. At least none that are that much better than the WR's you figure will be available in the 3rd.
Bears4Ever_34
Angelo obviously doesn't understand the Draft. I guess he likes the idea of cutting players..
Pixote
Dallas, shortly after we traded out of the 2nd, traded their 2nd for the 75th & 110th picks.
Stinger226
i stay up till 2 qm for this\?? I just read they wanted Robiskie at that spot and a un-named defensive player, so they moved down, there board has several slotted a little lower. Honestly trading down to get lesser value and being happy about it is mindboggling.

After the top 20 players, the next 100 arent much different ,just look at where some picks were taken.

We got better value than DAL got for an almost idental trade. Lets see how it works out.

People here talked about taking Johnson/FS/Ala, and Inglesias/WR/OKl, with the 49th pick and both of them are still there.
Wesson44
WTF???? Traded our second rd pick #49 to the Seahawks for their 3rd rd #68. What are we thinking?
Mongo3451
I love the trade. The value chart is horsecrap IMO. Now, if Angelo ends up trading down again for 6th and 7th rounders, I won't be happy.
GakMan23
There's tons of "sprinkels" and "twists" in the later rounds....

It was for the 4th selection in the 3rd rd and the 4th selection in the 4th rd, giving us 2 3rds, 2 4ths, & 2 5ths. I think it was a good trade in that the players we wanted with the 2nd were gone and the players remaining we were targeting will probably still be there in the 3rd. Still good players on the board.

adam
This morning on ESPN radio John Clayton said the Bears were officially shopping their pick. Then it is not as bad. I know you can't go off the draft value chart exclusively, and this may be all they could've gotten. If their guy was off the board, no reason to pick just to pick. Ed Hochuli 3:16
Michael Johnson is of ridiculous value at 68. I think Rashad Johnson would be a nice pick too. My 3rd option there is probably Juaquin Iglesias. God Damn It! What a wasted day, we won't even see them make a pick today. Pretty stupid trade if you ask me. Just take that WR out of Georgia and be done with it. Why trade down? Makes no sense.. What do you mean, why trade down? To pick up more picks. Don't ever just take a guy just to take a guy. You like him so much yet you can't even remember his name. I'm happy you aren't the Bears GM. We traded down to pick up Hester. How stupid, huh? ChileBear
Yeah I know why you trade down. My point is why do it for so little in return? Probably because all the players they had on their board worth the pick were gone, after the "luck" factor came into play, as JA put it in the SunTimes and Trib today. They had people on their board that they graded as lower than the 49th pick, so they got some extra picks for it. We'll see what they do today and then make a final judgement.
