Ed Hochuli 3:16
On ESPN1000, JD just reported that we really want Derrick Williams out of Penn State at 49. Yuck. Give me MoMass over Williams.

DABEARSDABOMB
He had a really poor performance at the combine. Seems like he has decent ability but I don't like him over a lot of other guys. If we get him it better be because the Bears move down significantly.
Ed Hochuli 3:16
Isn't he like a midget? He's 6'0 195. He reminds me a lot of Eddie Royal. He had a really poor performance at the combine. Seems like he has decent ability but I don't like him over a lot of other guys. If we get him it better be because the Bears move down significantly. He ran a 4.6 at the combine but he had the flu. At the PSU pro day, he ran a 4.4.
DABEARSDABOMB
Thats not as bad and I'd definately take Eddie Royal.

I heard that interview. He based it on the fact that we showed absolutely now interest in Williams. The last time we didn't show interest in a player we drafted it was Cedric Benson. Right. I'm one who's convinced that JA doesn't spend much time worrying about sending out "smoke-screens." Angelo went on record as saying he wants a big receiver . . . someone who's play is different then Hester & Davis. So either JA is lying or he's telling us the absolute truth. I believe him. No way we take Williams.
BearSox
I doubt it, but he could be an option at 68. However, I'd still prefer Mike Wallace if we go WR.
Connorbear
Well, Massaquoi was a definate smokescreen. Angelo talked him up big time. Highest rated receivers available: - Derrick Williams - Juaquin Iglesias - Louis Murphy - Austin Collie - Brandon Tate - Mike Williams Highest rated safeties available: - Rasheed Johnson - Chip Vaughn - Courtney Greene - David Bruton I say they are going WR. BearSox
If Michael Johnson is still on the board, I see him. I really don't like him, but at that point, he's got too much potential to pass up.
bradjock
We talked up Massaquoi and we talked down Johnson & Williams. Those are two players who could be available next. It'll be interesting. Either way, I understood the need to trade down once. Last year we traded down multiple times, and most of the players we added were cut. I hope we stand pat. AZ54
There's no way I see us going after Johnson DE because this is our first pick in the draft. We have needs, huge needs, and JA has to feel like he needs a high certainty of hitting on this next pick. If Johnson is there in the 4th I could see us taking him then.
