Mongo3451
This may need moved to another part of the board, but... Who do you guys think will be fantasy breakout players this year and why? Hopefully, we can share enough to help each other in our leagues outside of this forum. I hate to say it but I have the 1st pick in my draft and can't find a reason NOT to pick AP. I can't stand pinning my hopes on a damn Vike. Gotta do it, as my league gives a 3 pt bonus for 100 yards rushing and receiving.
Ed Hochuli 3:16
Devin Hester (Cutler lands atleast 5 more deep balls in his arms) Michael Jenkins (it's about his time and will get single coverage with Roddy White) Jason Campbell (first year with the same coach) Terrell Owens (first year with team = always a huge year) Hakeem Nicks (huge hype with him being the Giants new #1 WR) Lee Evans (a huge year with the addition of TO) Cedric Benson (he played really well with Cincinnati last year and will be better if Palmer stays healthy)

Im taking Forte , 1 because i think hell have alot more TDs this year, and 2 i friggin hate the vikings. I think the fantasy steals/breakouts will be Beanie Wells, Greg Olsen, LT (people are doubting him now and hes gonna fall), Pierre Thomas The duds will be Micheal Turner, Aaron Rodgers, Crabtree, Deangelo Williams And seriously, Cedric Benson is a scrub, plus with Palmer back, he wont see the ball, nor could he do anything with it. flea
Not someone you'll hear about much but I'm thinking of picking this guy up in a later round. Decent first year for Falcons, hurt last year & SOMEONE has to catch balls for the Rams http://www.stlouisrams.com/team/players/71417/

I have a feeling Palmer is going to help free up Benson, but I'm simply done with him. Palmer says Chris Henry is going to be a stud this year. I see Greg Olsen breaking, but don't think it will surpise too many people. I forget the rookie the Colts drafted to replace Addai, but he's worth a flyer. Beware T.O. Not because of T.O., it's a Buffalo thing.

I like all your breakouts. I just don't think Olsen is sneaking up on anyone this year, as he is noted for being on the rise. Not sure about the duds. I only agree on Crabtree. The others may not have spectacular years, but I see them being productive. Tell me more about why Forte will be better then AP... I would love to be swayed, as I really hate picking AP. How is Crabtree a dud? He's a freaking rookie. And how can you say Rodgers and Turner will be duds? I like your picks of Hester and Nicks. His fumblitis kills his stock but if its not a PPR league he is simply the best.

Crabtree is all they have, but youre right, shouldnt have listed the rookie WR. Rodgers and Turner will be nowhere near last year. Turner to me is a total wash and rodgers, well hes a packer so screw him.

We will also be inside the 10 alot more i think so forte will see alot of midrange TD opportunities.

Sure, he might not have 17 rushing TD's, but even 13 or 14 + 1 or 2 through the air is worthy of a top 2 pick. Rodgers is only going to get better. He had 28 TD's and 13 INT's last year and that was his first full year. Now, he has Jennings in a contract year + 1 more year of experience. I honestly don't think Rodgers will have a better year(30+ td's) but I wouldn't go as far to say that he would be a bust. I believe temas are going to start keying on him now that they know he can play. Last year teams weren't sure if he could play because of how bad he was when he was backing up Favre. He really got better as the year went on. He's a former #1 draft pick and he's easily their #1 WR. He's pre-ranked at #74. He might be a steal there.
