bowlingtwig
Urlacher is doing a great job of getting to the ball carrier but he needs to start wrapping up instead of just bouncing off of the opponent.
nfoligno
To be fair, a lot of defenders bounce of Jacobs. Urlacher had the play where he litterly was knocked silly by Jacobs, but came back right after that and nailed him (along w/ Pisa) and on that play, you could see him holding Jacobs foot, even after Jacobs was down. There was at least 2 that I am referring to but yeah I was to upset with that one there because Jacobs is such a big and powerful back. He knew better then to try and tackle Jacobs high the 2nd time.

LOL about Ulacher he now knows you can't tackle a load like Jacobs with the high school/college try.Man up and wrap up.
AZ54
Wasn't it Jacobs Urlacher steamrolled en route to a near sack? We don't practice tackling in camp so going from zero to tackling Jacobs is tough but I was glad to see they got better as the game went along. defiantgiant
yes, but you know if you are going to tackle someone bigger than you, you have to hit and wrap up and hold on!!! LOL Yeah, this...Jacobs is bigger than Urlacher. When you're a 6'4" 258-pound linebacker, you're probably used to tackling guys a good bit smaller than you are. I remember Urlacher having some trouble with Jerome Bettis back in the day, too.
