bear trap
I know a lot of people on this board and all bears fans are/were hoping to get a legitimate receiver in here for insurance. I personally feel that we will be fine at the position but got to reading another article that made me think HMMM... Philly is pretty stacked at the wr position with maclin, jackson, brown, avant, and curtis. I know that he's no anquan boldin or even brandon marshall but I wonder what it would take to pry Kevin Curtis from the eagles? He's a vet and a darn good receiver. I'd be all for throwing them a 3rd or 4th rder to them to get him. Like I said I think the guys we have will do fine but it is an idea especially after reading this article: http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/Teams_..._receivers.html
fudgeripple2000
I think that a third or fourth would do it. Being a fellow aggie I followed his career closely due to the fact that besides Chris Cooley they are all I have. In college he was the priority and he still torched teams. In St. Louis he still produced well with two pro bowlers he shared catches with. In chicago he would be a great slot/posession reciever. Is it possible that Curtis could be one of those available in that timeframe? If so, he could be gotten for a lot less than a draft pick or two. I used to be good on the idea of bringing in Marvin Harrison but the more I read about him the less I like. So at this point my personal #1 choice would be Marshall then maybe someone like Lewis. nfoligno
One, I don't think a trade is particularly necessary. Two, while they look stacked on paper, I am not sure Phily is going to be so willing to make a trade. I was under the impression they have been dealing w/ numerous injuries, and may not want to lessen their numbers when their group is already down. Plus we have no 1st Rounder. Curtis is an injury-prone sissy anyway

Curtis is an injury-prone sissy anyway He played in all but 1 game from the 2004 season all the way through the 2007 season. Last season, he missed 7 games. I wouldn't say that's exactly being a sissy.
