GrizzlyBear
Bears makes first cuts to get to 75 By Brad Biggson August 31, 2009 4:25 PM | Permalink | Comments (3) | TrackBacks (0) A day before first cuts were due, the Bears got down to 75 players by making four moves. Defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek was waived/injured. Wide receiver John Broussard, punter Richmond McGee and long snapper J.J. Milan were placed on waivers. McGee performed well during training camp but wasn't going to unseat veteran Brad Maynard. Final cuts to 53 are due on Saturday. Teams can begin establishing an eight-man practice squad on Sunday. Dusty gone surprises me but dont.
flea
He's gone but not gone. If he clears waivers & as an upcoming FA I don't see how he doesn't, he's still a Bear & goes on IR
