Chosen by the Cowboys in the third round of the 2007 draft, Marten was inactive for all 16 games as a rookie. He was then claimed off waivers by the Raiders before Week 2 of the 2008 season and appeared in one game. Marten was released by Oakland during final cuts Saturday.
