flea
http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Biggs-...linebacker.html Could the bears be after KC's Derrick Johnson? If so least I won't have to stay up till all hours of the morning next draft day

If so least I won't have to stay up till all hours of the morning next draft day The Chiefs are as bad off at WR as one can imagine. We have a solid group. Would they take a trade for one of our WRs? Maybe Iglasis (sp) or R Davis? I do not know what they are looking for in compensation in such a trade. I would prefer to trade a player before a high 2nd day pick. Yes, I do believe we have a solid group of WRs. I like Knox, Hester, & Bennett. I think by the end of the year the perception of this position as being a glaring weakness will change. I am not saying we have a stellar #1 but I do believe as a committee they are no longer a weakness. Some teams have RBC, we have WBC, LOL. I have no idea what the Chiefs would take in trade. I was just throwing out an idea. You could be right, the Chiefs may not be interested.
Bears4Ever_34
I can't believe they could get this guy, he's an animal! Like he's really really good. If we somehow pulled that off for say Mark Anderson I'd be thrilled.

If we somehow pulled that off for say Mark Anderson I'd be thrilled. That is a possibility I did not think of. We have lots of DEs, and if Gaines is truly worth a 2nd rounder next year, we should be fine with our rotation at DE. We have AO, Brown, Gaines, M Anderson, Idonoje... LB is a greater need right now. I do not know much about the LB being takled about, but if he would be an excellent starter for us at LB, pick your poison and trade one of the DEs. DABEARSDABOMB
He's started at MLB and OLB and hasn't fit in as nicely as they thought in the Chiefs new 3-4 defense.

I would love to get this guy. He doesn't fit in there system. Hes best as an OLB/MLB with our defense because he has great athleticism and we be able to "roam around" better with our scheme. This guy was an absolute BEAST with a capital B in college. Almost freakish.
