December 31, 200916 yr comment_74960 with all the injuries I had forgotten about Pisa. While we have limited action from him as a Bear to go by I do think it's worth keeping him provided he can get and stay healthy. Much of this year has been what we pictured vs reality for this thread I'll stick with the one at hand. Going in our LB trio was to be Briggs, Urlacher, and Pisa. In reality it became Briggs, Hilly, Roach only one opening day starter left. I think that Pisa has enough upside to keep him around and see if next year we can see the starting LB corp intact. Report

If Lovie is our coach next season, Pisa probably stays. Personally, Id' rather we use space on our roster to develop some young OL or DB depth. Pisa hasn't shown anything but heart and an ability to get injured. Report
December 31, 200916 yr comment_74967 I'd rather keep Jamar Williams, but Piso is a solid player and I'd welcome him on our club. It also depends on who our coach is and what defensive scheme we are running. Report

January 1, 201016 yr comment_74980 I'm all for keeping Tinosomoa. The few games he did play in (Preseason included) he showed some nice speed and solid hitting and tackling ability. He is the type of player that I like; one that enjoys the team he is on and is a veteran where younger players can benefit from. That and he has the skills I mentioned before. Now, if he could just stay healthy then the Bears might have something. As mentioned before, if for some reason he weren't able to make it back then I still say the Bears need to look at signing someone like Derrick Brooks as he too has a lot of potential left. And before someone assumes incorrectly, I am not advocating for the Bears to stay with the Cover 2. Especially given the advanced age of the aforementioned players and Urlacher. In fact, what seemed to be working pretty well last Monday was more the traditional 4-3 defense. Seemed to keep Favre off balance especially early on. Report
