jason
Chicago Bears.com - Martz in Attack Mode Martz: "We want to be in an attack mode no matter what." I love it. In other words, it's EXACTLY the opposite of the garbage offense that the Bears have had for most of the past decade with guys like Shoop and Turner. It will NOT be a "play to protect the lead" offense. It will not be a "play not to screw up" offense. It will not be a hesitant, tentative offense. It will be an attacking offense. I can't wait to watch the NEW Bears offense this season. Finally the Bears have an OC with a pair.
madlithuanian
Does he want to be a HC? It'd be nice for the D to have that too... jason
Hard to attack without a front line. The basic principle of war. You know I agree; read the sig that I've had for over two years. Yet it keeps getting ignored for more and more DTs, DBs, and DEs for Lovie's busted ass system.

Unless you have a Walter Payton you need a good oline! I hope they can put a good unit out there this year. Mike Tice you got some work to do!! If Tice can't get production from the guys he is given then they all are going to be looking for work. And JA and Lovie are really counting on very late round picks and NDFAs for OL improvement/depth. What successful team has ever done this with the OL? How many games have we watched over the years (decades) this team play not to lose or worse yet, not have a chance offensively? No matter how the season turns out I am just elated knowing we will have a team that can put some points on the board or atleast they will be trying to force the issue on opposing defenses. I think we saw glimpses last season even though Cutler struggled with his transition to the new team early in the season and finished strong. I think this says alot about Cutler's makeup as a competitor and it will be fun to see what happens when you pair him with a great offensive mind in Martz. In my oppinion we have as good a chance as GB or MN to win the division now that we have a Modern NFL Offense and a DE like Peppers to help make Farve retire once and for all and Rodgers wish he was a back up again! Go Bears!
