jason
Great. Webb has cement in his shoes and lets Orakpo go around end. Meanwhile Williams, the first rounder who can't find a position, thinks he only needs to hold his block for 1.5 seconds. Cutler has no chance. I hope he has health insurance. azbearsfan
I mentioned the Bennett throw. Granted. There was pressure on the Knox throw. Considering he's the franchise, I'm quite sure that the coaching staff has given him guidance to be EXTREMELY careful with any sort of pressure. Alright dude, just stop. There is going to be pressure on every play, especially in this crap offense with this crap oline. If the coaching staff has told him to be careful with pressure then we would be running every play. Yet, your boy Martz, feels the need to pass every play.
jason
Well you were one of the biggest supporters of this whole Martz debacle. The genius playcalling, the exciting attacking nature, blah blah blah. All we are seeing is a bunch of third and longs, going for a record of sacks, an offense that is becoming as terrible as the shoop days. Agreed. I was. I am. Please refer to my previous post that listed all the different things Martz has tried, only to see the OL completely shit the bed on every play. There's not much he can really call/do when EVERY play gets blown up. Run? Nothing. Tons of pressure, no holes. Pass? Nothing. Tons of pressure, no time to throw. Is there something other than a run or a pass that he should try?

Boston Boxer
Nice pipe dream, but we all know it's not happening. I wish it were. i know...we have to put up with the "good ol' boy" club. I wonder if Smith has any other friends that cant coach...we can bring them in too.
azbearsfan
lol Nice call Mike!!!! How about about a little play action back to the TE...... oh thats right, TE's are not allowed to play in your genius offense.

At this point, i might take out life insurance on Cutler

'TD'
Tell me how Ron frikin Turner can have a better offense with just as a piece of crap oline? They were horrible last year, but a little better than this. What Martz has different on the offensive line then last year is his doing. Spending on Taylor and Manu.. mannu... man just don't want to block no one, and releasing beackman. He has his guys out there.

Um...easy...they played like shit last year, but they are playing like a mixed bag of zoo shit this year? It is unequivocally undeniable that the OL is playing worse this year than at any time last year.

jason
All part of the "genius" package All you seem to do is criticize, but you have no answers. And you know it. Manu was a bad signing. Taylor hasn't helped much. But there is nearly nothing he can do with an OL this bad. This is the worst OL in the NFL, which is not up for debate, and perhaps the worst OL of all time (right up there with the OL that almost got David Carr killed). azbearsfan
Ahhh, here we go Mikey. Three step drop means we start moving the ball!!!!!
DABEARSDABOMB
Geeze Martz, it took you how long to start calling for quick developing plays? Bout freakin time you retard.

Ball control, run and churn that clock. Short passes to move the damn ball and keep our defense off the field. Get with your oline coach and create a plan to create some success for your oline instead of starting every game putting them in a position to fail right off the bat. Actually create a game plan that will give us a shot to do something with what we have. Dont just run plays to feed your ego, because you are a "great offensive mind" and the coach of the "greatest show on turf" blah blah blah. Not exciting, but maybe it can give us a win. And this, "All you seem to do is criticize" is hilarious coming from you.
DABEARSDABOMB
I don't care what happens on this drive, I'm just so glad to see that Martz might have finally figured out, 3 step drops and quick routes are hard to stop when teams are blitzing like crazy. When teams are blitzing and you call 7 step drops instead of short developing plays your screwed.
jason
Great scramble by Cutler. Beautiful throw.
azbearsfan
There we go kids, short passing = TD with a crappy line. Good to see Cutler didnt subscribe to the apparent coaching edict that as soon as he feels pressure he should run into sacks and throw crappy balls. DABEARSDABOMB
freak yes. Stay with the short stuff another series or two and than you can work in some other stuff as the Skins will be scrambling and will have to cut down the blitzes. What's the YPC for the Bears' RBs this year? "Get with your oline coach and create a plan..." - Please be specific. I'm sure that Martz and Tice have talked before. But maybe YOU have some great ideas they haven't thought up. Remember, THESE guys are in the NFL and have been coaching for YEARS, something that has been unreproachable for some time on this board. "create a game plan..." - Yeah, good luck with that. Aside from the last drive, nearly EVERY play has been blown up.

azbearsfan
And here we have a couple of things. Since the short passing has made the blitz ineffective, it has given the line a chance to get their bearings plus the redskins aren't bringing heat every play. Now Cut has time to make some mid range throws.

Bears4Ever_34
Wow talk about two horrendous calls. That was easily a touchdown by Cutler, the ball crossed the plain and they didn't even REVIEW IT! Then DJ Moore with a INT TD, it should be 21-10 two times by now. Such BS.
