balta1701-A
The Detroit Lions are down to their third option at quarterback for the foreseeable future. Shaun Hill broke the index finger on his throwing hand in the first half of last week’s loss to the Patriots and could miss the remainder of the season, a person familiar with the situation said. Drew Stanton took first-team reps in practice today and is expected to make his second career start Sunday against the Bears. Link
Chitownhustla
Link Another reason for the experts like Trent Dilfer to question if the Bears are good or lucky!
Bears4Ever_34
Shaun Hill or not the Bears should win this game handily.
AZ54
Everything about our offense is much steadier now, from Oline blocking, route running, QB play, even TE Manu is actually blocking people these days.
adam
We seem to be getting better slightly each week. I hope that trend continues and we have a solid game all-around.
flea
We should win but I never take Detroit away for granted
BearFan PHX
Bears4Ever says Matt Forte- 1200 rushing yards (10 TD's) 450 receiving yards (3 TD's) Jay Cutler- 3700 passing yards 24 TD's 12 INT's Greg Olsen- 82 catches 1000 yards 9 TD's Devin Hester- 74 catches 900 yards 8 TD's with 5 games to play, here's how they'll finish on the current pace (current stat x 16/11) Matt Forte - 992 rushing yards (6 TD) 512 receiving yards (4 TD) Jay Cutler - 3351 passing yards 23 TD and 14 INT (274 rushing yards 0 TD) Greg Olsen - 42 catches 480 yards 7 TD Devin Hester - 45 catches 537 yards 3 TD also Johnny Knox - 58 catches 1073 yards 3 TD Earl Bennett - 46 catches 512 yards 4 TD Devin Aromashodu - 12 catches 174 yards 0 TD Chester Taylor - 309 rushing yards (1 TD) 145 receiving yards (0 TD) I realize that your prediction was for last year, but it seems to be coming true. Martz is spreading the ball around more tho and Knox was a surprise from 2009 so some of the yards are coming from Forte, Olsen and Hester and going instead to Taylor, Knox and Bennett. Great numbers for some, Aromashodu and Taylor really have to be considering what went wrong at this point....Taylor not impressive thus far at all. Ed Hochuli 3:16
Like someone said, Hill or Stanton, the Bears losing to Detroit would be inexcusable.
