Guest TerraTor
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Ar65...ears122610& Im guessing the Giants getting their asses handed to them again isnt news either.... Why is ok for the jets to squeek by Detroit, Cleveland? and the Patriots to gived up 24 to Matt Flynn led Packers? Im the first to admit this team isnt very good, the coaching refuses to change any scheme and we would more than likely get beat up in a Super Bowl, let alone playoff game, but my god... Bears4Ever_34
Did Trent Dilfer write this? Seriously, this guy is a complete moron. This schedule BS is pure garbage. Coming in to this year everyone thought our schedule was the toughest in the league, mainly because of the over hyped expectations of the Cowboys and the Vikings. And when we played the Cowboys they still had Tony Romo and a defense that got after the quarterback. Last I checked, Romo is one of the top QB's in this league. That was a quality win at the time before Dallas imploded in the ongoing weeks. We beat a Packers team with a healthy Jermichael Finley, and yes, WE beat them. Julius Peppers was a beast in that game and forced alot of penalties on the Packers offensive line. People like to find excuses so that they can feed their own egos, saying the Packers gave us the game when that couldn't be further from the truth. Our other quality wins came against the Eagles. Hello? That lasted about a week until now all of a sudden everyone has suddenly forgotten the fact that we did indeed win and we blew them out. If it weren't for that lucky Vick pass late that should have been picked off, the game was actually alot more of a blowout than the score indicated. We had an ugly loss to the Patriots but they are the Patriots and are far and away the best team in the NFL. But we came back out the next week to beat the Vikings and now the Jets. I guarantee you every playoff team in the NFL has had their fair share of "Easy wins" as far as the opponents are concerned and nobody talks about that. The Bears just find ways to win and that is all that matters.
adam
Yeah, the link text was titled "NFC's Big Fraud". That dude is a joke. He does realize we are 7-1 since our Bye Week, and lost two other games by 3pts. Even against NYG, it was only 3-0 at half. We made significant strides after the Bye Week and continue to get better. Look at New Orleans, where are the doubters? Only 2 wins against teams with winning records, and 2 losses vs teams with losing records. How about Tampa? All their wins against teams with losing records, and they loss to Detroit. We also beat a red-hot Eagles team and beat GB before all their injuries. We are 11-5 and have clinched our division. The only loss in the last 8 games came to the best team in the league. We are pretty good. jason
I don't understand the title of the article at all. Why do the Bears need charitable foes? Didn't the Bears also have a turnover? Wasn't the Bears' turnover more costly than any by the Jets? Gimme a break. And, the announcers for the video...WTF? They say that the Bears didn't throw at Cromartie or Revis, but then neglect to mention that they DID throw right at Cromartie for the third TD. Burned his ass. Besides that, isn't the old saying "you're only as strong as your weakest link?" The Bears third WR is easily better than any third DB on any team in the league. I stand by that. DB #1 = Knox DB #2 = Bennett or Hester DB #3 = Gets torched by Bennet or Hester DB #4 = Forget about it. Aromashodu kills this guy
AZ54
When Brady throws away from Revis he's smart. He's really smart when his third WR gets over 100 yards in a game because he is taking what the defense gave him. There are few in the media who's opinion I value. Most of these guys are just looking at a stat sheet and writing something to beat their deadline. Most live on the east coast, or west coast. What matters is that our offense has put up over 30 pts in back-to-back games against two good defenses. The D is struggling right now but if I had to choose which side of the ball corrects itself for the playoffs I'd take the defense to get back on track. Til then, I'm happy with the progress the offense has made. We never saw 30+ pts in the first half of the season so clearly something has changed, and we had an easier schedule then too. No matter how you slice it you have to be a good team to win 11 games in this league.
Ed Hochuli 3:16
His argument is, pretty much, that if the Jets didn't go for the fake punt, they would've beaten the Bears. Man, I remember my first argument..
