Well, Hanie tried...but I just don't think he has the tools. There is a reason why nobody outside of Chicago has heard of him, and why he was on the bench as a third stringer. Great effort by him though...should be enough for him to cement in his position as second string next year.

I'm kinda glad I don't live in Chicago, I'd expect about 2/3 of the Bears-related talk radio to focus on how Hanie should be the starter if there is a 2011 season.

If Cutler's knee was bothering him early in the first half, that would explain why he was so inaccurate on his throws.

You know, we came a whisker from the Super Bowl. The vets must be kicking themselves. This was, IMdO, still a good year for the Bears after the start we had and the OL problems.

THANKS NFL...another missed call! Clearly Knox was held/ interfered with on the last play that resulted in a int.

I'm pissed.

And you know that Peter King is going to have his head up Rodger's butt for the next two weeks. I HATE the Puckers!

Guys...we can take solace in the fact that just a few plays decided this game.

1] Cutler missed Hester on two deep passes that could have easily provided anywhere from 6 to 14 points.

2] The packers punter put two or three punts perfectly on the sideline or near the goalline

3] The Hanie INT was a killer

If any one of the above changes, the Bears could have easily won. Tough game to stomach because of the opponent, but the team played hard. The D played very hard. A couple costly plays, and ill-timed penalties, were the differences.

On to the draft...

And hopefully a CBA!

I hear you, but I think we were outplayed overall, we nearly stole the game but that is what it would have been, a steal. We never established any consistent offence, although our defence did us proud. We need a bit more help on O Line and a prime time receiver, hopefully our franchise QB will show that he is worth what we paid for him.

I hate to nit pick but think about if Urlacher would have taken that INT to the house, and he should have. Idk why he ran into Rodgers, he's athletic enough to run by him..

This. Knowing Terrible Todd Collins is warming up, you have to score on that play. He had two teammates trailing him (Tillman and someone else). If he can't get past Rodgers, he has to get it to one of the other guys. Urlacher played a great game, but that's a killer.
