BearsFan1974
...at QB. What a great game in all aspects. When the o-line couldn't hold any longer, Cutler adapted. Defense played strong until the end. Looks like the 25 year reunion is no more...Bye Bye Patsies!!!
BearFan2000
LOL when I first saw the title of the thread I thought "are you kidding" but yeah that was a dumb throw he had some daylight to run the ball, though I think had he completed that pass to Hester the crowd would have erupted lol. We did play well in all aspects of this game and physical on D I loved seeing us challenging their receivers at the line and at the point of the catch we gave up very few easy catches While it would have been neat to have 25 year reunion SB Bears vs Pats, especially now after the jets beat them they could have been beat. I'm thinking Bears Steelers SB. How about Cutler.. THis is the guy we traded for. 2 passing TD's 2 rushing TDs in his first ever playoff game. Thought I heard something like he's only the second QB to throw for 2 and run for 2 in the same game. Who'd have thought after the disappointing loss at home against the Redskins before the bye week that we'd be one game away from our second Super Bowl appearance in 4 seasons. Otto Graham was the other one and he did it 2x in '54 and '55 Cutler is turning out to be a great trade. I look at that game and wonder if Orton would have been able to do the same thing and the answer is easily No. We wouldn't have gotten this far if Orton was at the helm.
