azbearsfan
Well, I guess the reports that teams were allowed to sign today was false and they have to wait until tomorrow. So the reports are changing from the words "signed" to " to sign" . So I guess take these reports with a grain of salt although they did come from Biggs and Espn. jason
Even though reports have him as stiff and somewhat unathletic, I like this blurb about Ricky Henry: Henry is known for his punishing blocks and a mean streak so vicious that he has sometimes struggled to control it, even against teammates in practice. That's the type of attribute that is difficult to teach in an offensive lineman And if I told you we had a center who was 6-2, 300 lbs, with the following description, you'd probably say Olin. But it's the new guy, Alex Linnenkohl. I like this pickup a lot, and see him taking over for Olin in a year or three. Sturdy pivot man whose low center of gravity aids him in leverage. Does not get moved off the spot by bull rushers very often. Extends arms immediately after snap in pass pro, maintains distance from defender. Strong help for guards when uncovered, extends arms to get push when tackle's shoulders are turned. Has some mobility to get in front of screens. Coaches laud him for his strong character, toughness, leadership, and work ethic. Plays through pain.
flea
TCU WR Jimmy Young says he's headed to the #Bears last night. RT @iAm_JayWhy: @Live_with_AJ lol we going to Chicago. NW Missouri St. CB Ryan Jones signed Bottom line: Young was a productive receiver in Texas Christian's dynamic passing offense, where he was often overshadowed by teammate Jeremy Kerley. Although Kerley led the Horned Frogs in catches in their undefeated season, when quarterback Andy Dalton looked for big plays, he looked to Young. Young had only 32 receptions, but made them counted by averaging 15.2 yards per catch and scoring four touchdowns. He also starred in the Rose Bowl victory over Wisconsin, with 5 catches for 57 yards. Young won't be drafted as high as Kerley, but Young has the tools to be a productive pro in his own right. Receivers who offer Young's combination of size, athleticism and hands are currently in huge demand in the NFL. need to throw on the rose bowl now

Ed Hochuli 3:16
Linnenkohl is interesting. He may never play for the Bears, but some mock drafts prior to the draft had him going in rounds 4 or 5. He could be a surprise and could be the future C.
