madlithuanian
I've heard from numerous sources, that the NFL and NFLPA signed the new 10 year CBA. But I haven't heard when the opt out's kick in. Anyone know?
balta1701-A
The NFL Owners did not want an opt out. I don't beleive there is one. That was a major point...they wanted this to last a long time.
madlithuanian
I thought it was throw in there at the 11th hour? If not, great! 10 years of labor peace! bschmaranz
Yeah I thought they were gonna throw in an opt out after year 6 or 7 but maybe they didn't?
madlithuanian
I just read on SI on some thing jerry Richardson of CAR said, something in terms of if the opt out were included, the deal wouldn't have been approved by the owners. So, based on that, it looks like there is no opt out and we're in this for 10 years! Yeah I thought they were gonna throw in an opt out after year 6 or 7 but maybe they didn't?
