Alaskan Grizzly
I just wanted to pause and congratulate Richard Dent on his official enshrinement into the Football Hall of Fame. Great work and again CONGRATS to you sir!!!! This brings the total of Bear enshrinees to 30 ... a record http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Chica...ll_Hall_of_Fame
lemonej
You hvae to minus off Keisling ,Bobby Lane, Alan Page and Jim Finks since those guys spent the bulk of their careers with other organizations. The reports in the Chicago Media was 27 so they are including Jim Finks. The cool/puzzling thing about Dents speech was he gave love to Jimbo Covert and Steve McMichael but, no mention of love to Gary Fencik who IMO should get considerable attention from the hall as the Bears All Time leader in Interceptions, who was in attendance at his enshrinement. GrizzlyBear
His speech was all over the place to me, It seemed he was really nervous and never followed his notes. Was not the best speech I evere heard. and it paled agaist, Prime and Sharpe, Even Hamburger was better, But Iam very happy for him and glad to see him in hall he fully deserves it. Like a Marine....'once a Bear, always a Bear'. Especially if you became a "known" as a result of being associated with the team. But should they say only 27 then the Bears are still out front. And thankfully Dent wasn't inducted for his speeches...just his QB crunching.
