And I want to see the 1st team offense stay in for a good sustained drive, even if they don't score but no more than 3 series. I'm looking at the oline specifically though to see the continuity. Bears4Ever_34 Posted August 11, 2011 Report Share Posted August 11, 2011 Usually the 1st preseason game is a short session for the starters; maybe 2 or 3 series. The 2nd game they might play the entire first quarter, into the 2nd, and the 3rd preseason game is usually the "Dress Rehearsal" where we would actually game plan for the team we are facing and keep the starters in until the middle/end of the 3rd quarter. The 4th game is almost always the worst one because most of the starters don't play and it's essentially a game for all the 2nd and 3rd stringers to make the team.
