jason
Whatever, I just watched the replay. He was able to step up and throw and the ball was high. Your snarkiness is played out. Sure you did, bub. Mr. "I won't rewind my DVR" from the previous weeks all the sudden goes back and reviews. Everything I said from the previous post was accurate. Was the pocket collapsing? Yes. The initial pressure came in Cutler's face, then he felt backside pressure, then he stepped up and threw it immediately. This is EXACTLY what everyone has been calling for. Hell, EVEN BILLICK SAID THE POCKET WAS COLLAPSING AROUND HIM! I already said the throw was high, but Cutler HAD to throw when he did. Wait any more and you would have thrown a fit like a little baby about Cutler holding the ball. After that, it hit the receiver's hands. Period. Keep going with your Martz and Cutler hate, it just shows your ignorance more and more.
jason
Well at least we have all of our timeouts if we need a game winning drive. Don't say anything good about Martz or Cutler, az will stomp his feet and hold his breath like a baby who isn't getting their way and can't stand when they're wrong. jason
screw Matrz...he needs to get his arse down on the sideline and manage the fricken offense. Another wasted freakin timeout. Get down on the sideline and coach. when the D is on the field, gather the offense and coach them up. Sitting up in the booth is not what they need. Useless muther fucker, excuse my language, but this is just poor coaching. i will say we are running the ball more which is good. I can already see the tears rolling down az's cheeks. balta1701-A
Punting from the Carolina 39 and winding up with 19 yards net? That's how you lose football games.

He is allowed to call names and personally attack me, but its cool. The funny thing is, I just want the Bears to win. If Martz was getting it done fine. But Martz has done all the crap I thought he would when he was hired. Seven step drops with a crappy O-Line. Get the quarterback killed and now he is gunshy. The QB throws a bunch of picks. Fail to adapt to personnel. Bring in his crappy explayers. Statistically he has not been better than Turner. At the very least, if we had a different OC last year, then the Packers do not win that last game and are not frikin world champs. Overall he has not been good. But for some reason I have to get yelled at every game thread. lol, and I haven't even said anything about him today...

But you just don't like it when I call you out on constant waffling and lies. For instance, you lie when you say "...and I haven't even said anything about him today..." because we ALL know the multiple posts you had in the beginning of this thread are sarcasm. I wouldn't reply so strongly to you if you didn't post ignorantly so often. We get it; you hate Martz and Cutler and no matter what happens it's somehow their fault. The funny thing isn't that you want the Bears to win - which I truly believe, otherwise you wouldn't spend so much time here - it's that you don't appear to be able to give any credit which contradicts your established bias, much less see things the way most other Bears fans see them (i.e. it's tough for the OC and QB when the OL is the worst in the NFL for two years running and the WRs are average). The more and more I read your posts, the more convinced I am of your relation to either Tice, Angelo, or one of the bums on the OL. I wonder if Omiyale spends offseasons in Arizona? Because, quite frankly, they often are. Admins: If you'd care to do the research - it goes back a ways - the elevation of back-and-forth began on the other end. I called it out when it happened. jason
I'm happy for Forte, because he had such a great day. The next couple opponents are going to load up the box with 11 and a few coaches, forcing the Bears to pass. And, unfortunately, pass protect. Alaskan Grizzly
For the guy who isn't watching...are you being serious? No. He isn't out but Yes he tried to do a backflip after scoring a TD. Emphasis on the word 'try'.

Admins: If you'd care to do the research - it goes back a ways - the elevation of back-and-forth began on the other end. I called it out when it happened. Ok, let me chime in here. I'm not interested in who started anything, honestly. A couple years ago when the crowd first came over from the previous board, I tried to enforce the rules the way they are over at Soxtalk, where we crank down much harder on personal attacks, and people said that they didn't want that here, so I've just sorta made sure that spammers get removed and let things go otherwise. I don't think it's been a serious problem...but if there's something brewing that is going to start ruining threads constantly, it'll be hard to just let things go. There is an ignore poster option if things really get under your skin. If you guys really want things policed harder...tell me so and I can do so, but so far I haven't gotten the impression that is watned. The next couple opponents are going to load up the box with 11 and a few coaches, forcing the Bears to pass. And, unfortunately, pass protect. Loading the Box opens up the in-between pass on the 5 yard drop and occasionally the longer pass if the Bears can pass-protect. Next week they get Suh, which probably means there will be at least 1 dirty hit on Cutler, maybe more, but there's not much you can do about that. The 2 things that will need to happen is that Cutler will need to perform well (ID quickly the open receiver and get rid of the ball) and the receivers will need to catch the balls when they get hit in the hands. If that happens, then let teams overload the line and the Bears will still beat them.
Bears4Ever_34
Just an absolute disaster on defense today. We will not win against Detroit next week if that's how we are going to play. That was horrendous.

Whatever bud, you called me an idiot last week in the game thread. I responded with "no personal attacks please". And no the elevation did not begin on the other end. You are right about going way back, though. Why were your admin privileges taken away again? I know some of the mods love you and your snark so I wont expect anything. I just want to express my opinion, even if it is about Martz, with out being hassled about it and called names. I have no problem ignoring Jason, as I have tried to do that in the past. The fact that others have expressed the same sorts of opinions of our OC, especially last week, with the same type of comments, indicate to me that there is a personal thing going on. Its just a message board, after all.
