November 23, 201114 yr comment_97904 How is he going to be better then anyone we currently have on the roster? I mean is he even going to be better then Nathan Enderle? Report

November 23, 201114 yr comment_97906 I wonder if Orton even shows up. The whole reason he wanted to be released anyways was to come back to Chicago. Kansas City' coach is a nutjob and probably still believes his team can make the playoffs (They have no chance). Report
November 23, 201114 yr comment_97907 Yes, I think he's better than Enderle is right now. He'll back Caleb up. Decent signing. NOthing spectacular. Caleb is the man. November 23, 201114 yr comment_97909 How is he going to be better then anyone we currently have on the roster? I mean is he even going to be better then Nathan Enderle? Played under Martz in 2006 and has been out of the league for a while and was currently coaching HS football as an assistant. Report
November 23, 201114 yr Author comment_97911 I am just concerned with anyone that is one of "Martz's guys" after that whole Todd Collins mess. Remember Todd was chosen over Josh last year.... Report

November 23, 201114 yr comment_97915 I am just concerned with anyone that is one of "Martz's guys" after that whole Todd Collins mess. Remember Todd was chosen over Josh last year.... Collins being signed may have come with the endorsement of the GM and coach since he had a solid game versus the Bears while with the Skins whose OC Al Saunders was considered a guy who uses a system similar to Martz. Allegedly they all are Don Coryell disciples who while coaching the St.Louis Cardinals and San Diego Chargers had prolific passing yardage numbers. Report
November 24, 201114 yr comment_97918 This is a real odd situation. Usually if you have to rely on your backup QB for more than an odd appearance, it's over anyway. But with the wins we've built up, teams we play with losing records, and talent on D and special teams, the backup QB really can make a big difference if he can play capably (I'm referring to playoffs obviously). My philosophy is to go with the guys you've got...unless you feel really bad about them, and in that case it begs the question why you didn't do something about it before an emergency came up. Report
November 24, 201114 yr comment_97923 As you should be! But McCown has actually produced some in the NFL...I can't recall Collins producing anything but upset stomachs... November 27, 201114 yr comment_97942 Oddly enough, just like Todd, the link isn't working... http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CollTo00.htm Report
November 27, 201114 yr comment_97945 Oddly enough, just like Todd, the link isn't working... It works for me. Collins had one good year. FWIW, nobody wants to see the back-up to Hanie. If that happens, they're f***ed regardless. Report
