Barber out with calf injury

Barber can go. I would rather we bring in a RB in the lower rounds of the draft and keep Bell as the backup.

Peace :dabears

Barber is the perfect compliment to Forte if Forte is healthy...he doesn't need a lot of carries, but he does the one thing that Forte is just really bad at...getting short yardage when the other team expects the run.

They can draft a battering ram in the latter rounds. Barber needs to go, as he can't be depended on to stay healthy. Plus, he's not tremendously bright on the football IQ. Plus a true successor to Forte needs to groom as he gets older.

No problem there. Is Brandon Jacobs free next year?

Eh...I'm iffy at "drafting a RB". There's a lot better positions to use a 5th or 6th rounder on, unless the Bears find a guy who also is useful on ST.
