Stinger226
HA! An arbitrator. I agree completely with you, but it appears that there is still disagreement...which has me shaking my head in disbelief. We wont be trading up, so I dont see the point of the conversation. jason
We wont be trading up, so I dont see the point of the conversation. That clearly wasn't/isn't the entire intent of the conversation. It's just the ending distraction.

Stinger226
You do know Angelo is no longer with the team, right? With all the holes we need to fill, do you honestly think we will give up picks to move up 10 spots? That will take at least 3 picks, that wont happen. If some one drops to maybe 13 or 14, that would take our extra 3rd possible but not probably.

The correct answer is "It depends on what happens in free agency." You add in a left tackle (at the very worst to replace Omiyale), a top flight WR, and a defensive end, and suddenly some of those "Major needs" go away, and the Bears could gamble jumping up. Of course, then the motivation to jump up for a WR really goes away.
