#1 Aslton Jeffery/WR

#2 Chase Minifield/cb

#3a Ryan Miller/OG

#3b Lavonte Davis/LB

So what do you think. I like the info this website provides.

this website is run by former pro scouts. foot note

Al Toon/wr ranked 7th best WR

M. McNutt/ wr ranked 22nd best WR

Toon 54th best player in draft

McNutt 150th ranked player

I guess I am not alone in my opinion, I know they are smarter than me.

Stinger 226 through the years watching the WRs from the Big Ten Conference there hasn't been many from any other teams than Ohio State and Michigan who have excelled in the NFL. WTBS Toon is the son of a former NFL player that might be giving him a little more hype than he deserves because for all the discussion between he and Mc Nutt, AJ Jenkins was actually the receptions leader in the conference.Of the 3 when I watched Big Ten games Jenkins was the most impressive. Both Toon and McNutt had better passing QBs because Illinois' Schelhase(SP?) was more of an athlete and prior to him Juice was very inconsistent.

I say like quite a few is saying lets see how they do at the Combine before we make our final assessments. There was a lot of scouts who didn't believe that Arien Foster was a draft prospect and as we can see that was an oversight.

I am just showing other peoples opinions on WRs that we have been discussing on here. Toon has been inconsistent at times, but I think he was on a strong running team and with a little coaching can clean his act up, and be a productive pro. I dont think he is a #1 type but could grow into the roll of a #2. I have seen him play 6 times and just thought I liked his game. Didnt watch much Illini ball this year, but have seen McNutt a few times and he can catch the ball well, just not sure he has the quickness to get good seperation on routes at the next level. Toons production on a passing team would have got him more stats. So I see a diamond in the rough. The last time I routed for a WR for the Bears to draft it was Jordy Nelson, and he turned out to be descent. Everybody passed on Victor Cruz, and he played well this year. I think there is always players that suprize us every year, just would like him to be playing for the Bears.

Agreed and look at Manningham just last week.I liked him and Arrington at Michigan when they were coming out.

Toon has had some injury issues also so teams will look closely at his medical records. I tend to rate WRs based on the QB play during their careers. Toon has a draft eligible qb and the other 2 players I talked about(McNutt and Jenkins) from the conference don't. If you are considered inconsistent with a draft eligible QB you go under the microsope. He is in the same category IMO as Michigan St"s BJ Cunningham who also has a draft eligible qb in Kirk Cousins.
