Lynch got similar ground production this year as Forte, and was much more productive in finding paydirt. Forte offsets that with receptions. Four TDs in 12 games though? Forte didn't play in the last four or five games 2. we used Barber in the red zone to limit Forte's touches 3. Forte was use in the passing game more than Lynch and 4. Seattle did a little better job blocking than our line. So if you really compare the two Forte does more and is has more value than Lynch. It will establish a ceiling, not sure if it will be matched, maybe something similar. I am anxious to hear the terms which are now being finalized. Lynch is about as good as Marion Barber. Put Lynch is our crappy offense the past two years and he wouldn't have earned squat. If he settles for the same pay as Lynch then his agent is a dunce. It does have merit because my statement was based upon average per game. The two were similar in production, but Lynch easily had more TDs. Otherwise, I agree with what you've said.
