I like the question.

Peyton Manning will be going somewhere warm or with a dome, has pieces in place to win, and where he can have control of the offense.

I see Arz, Mia, or the dark horse Hou landing Manning with the Dolphins as my favorite. I can picture Saturday and Wayne also going there. Giving him Marshall over the top, Wayne over the middle, and Davone Bess in the slot. Shift Pouncey to LG and draft RT round 1. Then draft Defense the rest of the way. Dolphins go from pretender to contender overnight.

I would say he goes to the Redskins so he can play against his brother twice a year and that would allow his parents to watch both their sons play at the same time. How better could that be with them at home comparing what they did head to head against each other. Then they can have bragging rights over one another.MY team is better than yours....ha ha ha because I did so and so.

i vote for manning to go to the houston texans.

their coach is an offensive minded coach who worked under shanny. a major plus for someone like manning who basically calls his own shots.

their offensive line was ranked 7th overall in 2010 and 12th for sacks

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/752574-...or-2011/page/27

gave up 33 sacks in 2011 which was good+

excellent receivers

ranked 4th in run blocking in 2011

http://footballoutsiders.com/stats/ol

they have a very good running back to take the pressure off manning

they have an excellent defense to keep them in games

it's a warm venue

the dark horse here is the jets

a good overall offense that with a good defense can put you in a superbowl if you jettison sanchez who plain out sucks.

I'm thinking Miami.

They need a splash, and their team isn't horrid w/ Marshall and Bush.

It's a sunny city, he has some roots, and he gets to go at Tom Brady 2 times a year.

If you follow the money though, it would appear Washington...

I thought this would be interesting to see where people think he is going based on the different situations. Do you think he should do a for-tv special like Lebron an donate proceeds?

Teams that are out

Washington - Out. He won't play Eli twice per year.

NYJets - Out. Doesn't make sense since he doesn't like media scrutiny.

Minn - Bad WRs, below average OL, and Christian Ponder.

Teams that are improbable

Denver - I have a hard time believing he'd go to a team with obvious flaws to their passing offense.

SF - They don't appear to be making much of a push.

Arizona - Horrible OL

Possibilities

Seattle - Dome, money to spend, one glaring hole: QB

Miami - Great weather, no state tax, Brandon Marshall

Kansas City - Similar to Indy market, Bowe, good running game, fanatic fans

Washington - $$$

I chose AZ just for the hell of it but I think they are likely 3rd on the list. I see Mia, KC, and AZ as the top prospects. If Manning is here AZ can focus on fixing OL via draft and FA. A couple pieces and their line will be alright. Plus he's got Fitz and tack on one of his Indy WRs and perhaps Clark and he'd be happy. Whisenhunt has already proven he'll allow a great QB to run the show somewhat when he allowed Warner a lot of leeway to throw throw throw. No reason he won't do it again.

Peyton Manning could be close to choosing his next landing spot after just two stops on his free-agent tour, ESPN reported Sunday.

Citing sources close to Manning and a competing executive, the report put the Denver Broncos in the lead over Arizona and said Miami and Seattle might not even get the chance to arrange meetings with Manning.

One source, said to have spoken with Manning before his visit to the Cardinals, told ESPN that “his gut is that Manning is leaning toward Denver.”

The Cardinals did get a visit, though, as Manning was in town Saturday night and remained in the Phoenix area Sunday, according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic.

The Broncos are in better financial position to strike immediately with nearly $30 million of salary cap space. The Cardinals are currently over the projected cap of $120.6 million, but could rework contract and release offensive tackle Levi Brown, who has a 2012 cap number of nearly $17 million, to free as much as $23 million, according to team sources.

If Denver lands Manning, Tim Tebow would be traded, with the Jacksonville Jaguars in line to acquire him, a source told Pro Football Network.

HA!!!! Obvious mistake. I copied and pasted teams all around and couldn't figure out why I had Washington in the bottom section. Couldn't remember the thought process that made me put them in the bottom section. Then I thought to myself, "Did I do that because of money?" Shoulda scrolled up.

No problem, I still appreciate the effort to put it together.
