The REAL cap space

Featured Replies

PFT has reported the real cap space numbers are out.

It has us at 22.6, and that is after Forte has been franchised.

Rookie pool-------------------------4 to 5 mil

Our own FAs------------------------6 to 8 mil

So how much does that leave us for our big signing everybody wants?

I suspect we get one big contract to work and a few fringe players.

And other reports in chicago have reported completely different amounts recently. PFT has its info just as other people have there's. I have seen the detail supporting the other numbers and believe the PFT numbers are incorrect and I think the signings the Bears make will support such.

Just to illustrate how complex that is...does that or does that not include carryover cap space?

Our own free agents suck...
